About Me

Photographer, content creator, cyclist, storyteller, and marketing dude, but you can call me Mitch. I grew up in Venice, California, but in 2018, life took a turn, and I sold all of my belongings to move to Germany! I found my new home in Berlin, and this new chapter began. My life as a cyclist really started around 2011 when I bought a converted Motobecane “fixie.” I learned a few tricks, switched to Fixed Gear Freestyle, then stopped to compete in track and field during high school & college. After a little over a year of studying Social Psychology because I was fascinated with people and our behaviors, I ended my studies with a photography course and decided college wasn’t for me. Although I don’t have a degree, I would never trade it for what I would learn over the next few years of real-life experience.

After working in retail, running a small business, and embarking on a new chapter free of toxicity, a good friend recommended mountain biking. So I rented a bike and immediately found out how much fun it was and how out of shape I was! I immediately went and bought a mountain bike, and a week later, I had a job at a bike shop. It all felt so right. Oddly enough, working at that shop in Santa Monica reminded me of the diversity in the world because a lot of foreigners with interesting cultural backgrounds passed through there. And you know what? They all rode bikes…

December of 2017 is when I found myself on a road bike climbing around Malibu pondering a massive life decision. I ended up moving to Germany in October of 2018, and the change of scenery chilled me to the bone - literally! Fast forward a few years, and what began as a way to find myself through cycling became my entire life and career. Being a cyclist, despite the painful trials and tribulations that come along with it, paved the way for me to be the person I am today – A photographer, content creator, and cyclist creating my own path and writing my own story.

Cycling lit the fire inside me to ride all over the world, pursue a life full of passion, be free from a 9-5, and live in my truth.

I lost touch with a part of myself, and cycling helped me find it again!
